Lived experience
My story:
Having been a victim of sexual exploitation at the age of 15-16, I am insanely passionate about promoting the safety of all young people. This phase of my life shaped my future choices and my career, in a way I never would've imagined. It is my mission to empower, educate and support professionals, volunteers, community members and families to reduce the risk of extra-familial harm that young people face from people and spaces outside the home, so that they don't risk facing an experience as harmful as my own.
Training facilitators
Our amazing team of training facilitators are hand picked to deliver the training to your service. The facilitator will either be myself, or one of the trusted freelance training team who come with bundles of energy, heaps of experience and tons of enthusiasm!

We fully appreciate the frustration that can be felt when the cost of services aren't readily accessible to you, our customer.
So, we have tried our best to provide full transparency of our costing - although its worth noting that prices may vary depending on course delivery, type, length, and number of attendees.

Frequently asked Q's
Do you offer pre-recorded courses?
ASC have pre-recorded courses available for purchase. These aren't currently being advertised on the website as we pride ourselves on delivering high quality, bespoke safeguarding training specific to each service and organisation that we work with, with is harder to achieve with pre-recorded sessions.
Do you provide discount?
Yes - we offer discounted rates to certain organisations, such as community and voluntary groups and charities. We also offer discount to organisations that are repeat customers or who book our training for 2+ days per annum. The amount of discount increases dependent on the total number of days per annum.
Why is contextual safeguarding training so important?
Traditional safeguarding training has been an essential and required training for many many years. despite this, often when working with young people, the risks they face are not appropriately addressed in standardised safeguarding packages and a nuanced and innovative approach to identifying and responding to these safeguarding risks is necessary. Contextual Safeguarding provides this and feedback on this training topic has continued to show the scale of importance and excitement attached to this area of safeguarding training.
Which sector / services do you deliver to?
The training that we design at ASC is specifically tailored to suit whatever sector or service that has commissioned our training. If you come into contact with children, young people, families or vulnerable adults, then our services are suitable for you and your organisation.
Do you deliver standard safeguarding courses?
Yes - we absolutely can and do deliver standard safeguarding courses including but not limited to: basic safeguarding training, advanced safeguarding training, Domestic Abuse Workshops, designated safeguarding training and so on.
I am not sure what course would be most suitable, what should I do?
We offer a free 1hr consultations with yourself, with no expectation of a commitment to proceed with our services. Within that consultation, we can discuss what it is you're looking for and match this up with what we can offer you.
