So who am I?
Hello! I'm Helena the Director of ASC, and I am a specialist adolescent social worker with a passion for safeguarding young people. My passion stems from my lived experience of being sexually exploited as a teenager, and I have gone on to dedicate my career to promoting the safety and welfare of children, young people & vulnerable adults who are at risk of harm.
We like to make training fun, because who gets excited by boring?
What we do...
We help you - a passionate safeguarding professional to feel more confident in managing the complex safeguarding risks of children, teenagers and vulnerable adults. This is achieved through engaging training which incorporates a trauma-informed, person-centred lens.
We bring you real life case scenarios, direct tools, and practice resources that you can implement directly into your role, to make your job easier, and ultimately recognise and respond to safeguarding risks more confidently.
Whatever the training need, however small or large your organisation, whether you are a statutory partner, multi-agency team, or a part of the VCSE, we hugely value your work and can create the training / consultancy package to suit your needs.
