Understanding Child-on-Child Abuse

This training course equips professionals with the knowledge and skills to recognise, respond to, and prevent child-on-child abuse.
Participants will explore the different forms of abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional, and online harm, as well as issues such as bullying, harmful sexual behaviour, and peer exploitation. The course covers risk factors, early intervention strategies, and trauma-informed approaches to supporting both victims and those displaying harmful behaviours. Through case studies and interactive discussions, learners will develop practical skills for safeguarding children, fostering safe environments, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to address child-on-child abuse effectively.
